How do I cancel my existing provider?

We would recommend that you do not cancel your service with any existing provider until your new service is live. This is just in case we have to reschedule an appointment or additional work is required at your property to complete the installation. We don’t want you to be without any connectivity.

UK broadband does not currently offer any form of automatic switching service (like energy companies, or mobile operators do) and you’ll need to cancel your service with your old provider. We are not able to do this for you.

When contacting your old provider you’ll usually need to supply your account information and usually you’ll need to give 30 days’ notice to cancel and you may need to pay an cancellation fee if you are in your initial contract term (check your contract).

Please note that any services attached to your broadband (such as telephone, alarm monitoring, health care systems or similar) may be disconnected/ended and you may need to reconnect them to our broadband service (we offer a digital telephone service too in most areas).
