Cable

Cable broadband is the same as fibre broadband except for one difference. The last part of the broadband connection from the local cabinet to your home uses Virgin Media’s cables rather than BT’s copper wiring network. Cable provides a faster connection than ADSL but not quite as fast as FTTP. 

Mobile Broadband 

Mobile broadband allows users to connect their laptop or tablet to the internet by using 3G, 4G or 5G phone networks. This option is only suitable for people that can get a strong mobile phone signal, and will need to use a dongle or portable wi-fi router to connect to the web. It can be a great option for those who travel around a lot but can’t connect to wi-fi.
