Arran Broadband is pleased to announce the extension of its Arran network around the south side of the island, now providing coverage to the communities of Sliddery, Kilmory, Shannochie and Kildonan, using the exciting new technology of TV WhiteSpace radio.
Following the successful launch of service in the Machrie/Shiskine/Blackwaterfoot area, the larger network will be able to serve an additional 300-or-so properties, bringing the benefits of high speed broadband to even more of the island’s population – and in time for the important summer season. Plans are in hand to continue the network build to the eastern shore, to serve the villages of Lamlash, Whiting bay and Brodick, and further details will follow shortly.
