About UK voucher schemes

We are able to support free broadband installations in areas that are hard to reach by using funding offered through a number of Government initiatives. The main project covering this is Project Gigabit which is helping deliver gigabit capable broadband services across the UK.

You can find more information below about the different schemes currently in operation.

Project Gigabit – UK wide project operating a number of schemes to enable connectivity in hard to reach area and support next generation technologies. We work in partnership with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) to support this project and deliver to the hardest to reach communities.

Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme (GBVS) – The current rural gigabit voucher scheme is offering funding for installations in hard to reach areas to allow gigabit capable connections. We are a registered supplier and have a growing number of projects in Wales & Scotland. Funding is offered up to £4500 (including self-employed and small business). This is the main scheme operating across the UK and is used in most of our Project Gigabit funded installations.

Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme – A scheme operating in Scotland offering funding similar to the ‘GBVS’ scheme – We take part in both schemes and decide which is most appropriate on a project by project basis.

Welsh ‘Access Broadband Cymru’ Scheme – A scheme operating in Wales covering hard to reach areas offering funding up to £800. This is a customer led scheme and you need to submit an application to apply for funding. But don’t worry, we’ll guide you through this if your property is suggested for this type of funding.
